i thought it was LOVE

i think it was last year that my BestBuddy informed me about MedicineMan.

BB is a college friend and his adventures with guys is no secret to me. it was last year that he told me about MM. MM, according to him is someone he met at a social network site (i think it was pr) and had sex with several times in the past. a year after the first sex, the two became good friends and decided to take things to the next level.

i saw BB change from a malanding gigolo to committed man. he was falling in love with MM everyday. When i met MM in person, i thought, yeah, he's loveable, witty and nice.

last week, BB called. crying. he revealed the truth behind the "happy relationship." MM is not loyal. Since BB is a businessman and goes out of the country very often, MM plays a lot whenever BB is out. he caught MM on phone with other guys. and on several occasion, he read messages on MM's phone that gives out MM's activities whenever he is out.

he was devastated. after all the changes and the loyalty and commitment he offered to MM, this is what he got from him.

when he tried to talk to MM, this is what MM told him, "ganito na talaga ako eh. tanggapin mo na lang na ganito ako. hindi na ako magbabago. kung gusto mo, lets have an open relationship. kung di mo kaya, let's just be friends."

i thought it was love. the kind of love that entails commitment and loyalty.

is it really possible to have that kind of love on our world dear friends?

  1. No. Just kidding. :) This reminds me of my post regarding monogamy.

It is possible. But you have to wade through a lot of dirt and grime before you can find the precious few diamonds in the rough.

  2. I guess karamihan sa mga 3rd sex walang contentment. Yun ang masakit na part.
